Whose .problem? Dear Editor. As I write this letter your President is in Norway receiwng a peace prize or some such thing. Then I hear the Democrats want to borrow another $8 trillion. Quit spending money then you won't have to borrow, huh? Maybe the president should donate his prize .money to the USA to help pay Off the deficit. Every time Air Force f'tlal~d( ~)~f.-it'c'osis 'the tax payers $300.000. The engine in that plane hasn't cooled off since he got into office. Don't you think the president should stay in the white house & work for the people of the USA instead of flying all over the world apologizing for them. He acts like he is still "'run- ning" for president. Three hun- dred thousand dollars would sure help some of the people that are out of work. don't you think? He also went to an environment sum- mit of some sort. what did he promise there. To me it is scary as hell. just looking at what he's done so far. I'm sorry folks, but your democratic Congress & Senators are going along with this junk. You elected them. only you can haake them stop the nonsense. Good Luck! They all need to be replaced now. Everytime they make some kind of law. they take away more of our freedoms. How can they make a law forcing you to have health care & if you don't comply they will fine you &/or send you to jail. This according to Ms. Pelosi. How? That's worse than nazism. That sure is going to help the poor folks huh? Oh well. you folks done voted, him in so good luck. Ha. Nowadays the politicians are more interested in voting straight party line votes than helping people, no matter what the vote is for-good or ,bad. Surely your senators are not so stupid as to pass cap & trade or this healthcare bill. Just listen to what is in these bills. Both will kill jobs & they just vote for them anyhow. They just passed a bill that allows the government to shut down any company that might fail & hurt the country. What? I heard something about a water bill on the TV the other day. Folks. if it passed, the government owns ever place that water stands or might run. Every gully, ditch everything. I had read about this bill but can't find the article. People, it will shut down almost everything in this country. Oh Well. Your wonderful govern- ment at work. Now they are try- ing to get "Cash for Caulkers" Caulk your own damn house & buy your own car. That's what I have to do. Here is some wisdom from Abraham Lincoln. A very. smart man ~t seems. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich! You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong! You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot bring the wage earner up by pull- ing the wage payer down. You cannot further the brother hood of men by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character & courage by taking away people's initiative & independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them what they could & should do for themselves. Wow! Oh well. enough said. God Bless Our Troops & our Country. Gene Chadborn Animas. NM ell4 To%o 5,,ver R,nqs ~anqles Loqos Ii,an,um ,Lr'~ PIERCIhlE Located inside the Cottage House, 214 E. Motel Drive.
