"The Day Two videos highlight some of the chal- lenges parents with toddlers face and give advice on how to manage difficult situations in positive ways, while en- couraging children to build important skills," said Depart- ment of Health Secretary Retta Ward, MPH. The new videos are the final piece of the Day One series and follow several families featured in the Department's popular video series, which was first dis- tributed in 2012. In Day Two, the videos follow parents as their chil- dren become toddlers. The series consists of the following videos: Toddlers and Screen Time; Fall- ing Apart: Toddlers & Tantrums; and Toddlers and the World of No! In addition to the parents, the videos feature pediatricians and a clinical child psychologist who offer'insight into behaviors dur- ing the toddler years and offer suggestions on how to positively cope with these behaviors. The Department of Health encourages dramatic play, dress up, and outside physical activi- ties. Active play helps children learn to share, work with people and develop problem solving ler skills.
