If you have any ques- tions feel to give us a call at 542- 3908 Museum exhibit t0 depict' struggle of women in Juarez ., Submitted by ABE VILLARREAL/WNMU The WNMU Museum will launch the photo exhibition Con- vergence: Hope and Action in Centro Mujeres Tonantzin Plutarco on Friday, January 22, The photos depict the stories of women living in Jmirez, Mexico in 2009. More than 50 photos feature women of the large Mexican bor- der town and document their ex- periences in the workplace, households and other aspects of their lives. The women are part of Centro Mujeres Tonantzin, a dommunity .organization in Juarez. WNMU associate professor Dr. Emma Bailey hps conducted field research in Juarbz since 2006 Fourth Grade Flyers participate in activities Courtesy submission MS. Heath's Fourth Grade Flyers at Southside Elementary School participated in the annual Geography night on Tuesday January 12, 2010. The program will last 6 weeks. These families who attend for the whole six weeks will receive a free world map. Also in January, Southside Will be taking MAP tests. Stu- dents will be tested in Reading, Math, Science. and Language Arts. The tests are used to find out students progress in these sub- jects. We are working on Science projects by group. There are 4 groups to encourage team work. They are doing exciting and fun projects. and is eager to tell their story.
