The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the W.N.M.U. Fine Arts Center GET CASH for your IGOLD! This will be a return engagement for Pavlo, whose previous appearance in Silver City in 2009 brought a cheer- ing audience to its feet. Pavlo first introduced his infectious signature "6-string VS Greek Bouzouki" sound in 1998 when record company ex- ecutives told him that he would never find a market for his mu- sic. Viewing this as a challenge, Pavlo created his own record label, and now, sixteen years and nine albums later, he performs over 150 shows each year around the world. He has re- ceived numerous awards and recognitions for his music, and he collaborates with other art- ists to benefit humanitarian causes This performance by a master guitarist is one that au- diences will not want to miss! Pavlo will be backed up by his three-member band playing bouzouki, electric guitar and a variety of unusual percussion instruments. He and the band will also present an Educational Outreach program for Elemen- tary School students from this region at 10:30 a.m. on April 3. This concert project is made possible in part by support from New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Af- fairs, and the National Endow- ment for the Arts. Tickets for the Pavlo con- cert for non-subscribers will be $20 for adults and $5 for stu- dents to age 17.
