Pearce makes visitwtom County Last Wednesday, United States Representative Steve Pearce traveled to Lordsburg to recognize local students and visit with constituents. The first stop on his visit was to Lordsburg High School where Rep. Pearce thanked and recognized students, staff and administration for participation in the 2015 Congressional Art Competition. Alondra Gonzalez, a 2015 LHS graduate won first prize in the contest and was recognized at the Capitol Building. Following his visit to LHS, Rep. Pearce toured the new Border Patrol Station and later met with Hidalgo County ranchers to discuss such issues as natural resources, land management, and border security.
